About the Miniatures
Do you work in any other scales beside 1″ / 1:12 scale?
At this time, due to my workload with custom orders, I am not able to offer miniatures in any other scale besides 1:12 scale.
Are these items suitable for children?
No! All miniature creations are designed only for adult collectors. They are NOT toys and are not suitable for children. They are collectibles made for display and decorative purposes only.
Are these items edible?
No, none of the products sold on my website are edible. While they may look real, all products are made from a variety of materials ranging from polymer clay to paper to resin, but they are not made from edible substances.
Can you recreate any of the items here that are currently sold out?
It depends, but the answer is often yes! Feel free to contact me with the specific item you’re interested in, and I can let you know.
Is yours a smoke-free studio?
Yes, I work in a smoke-free environment.
Is yours a pet-free studio?
No, my studio is a pet-friendly workplace and has both cats and dogs, so if you suffer from allergies please keep this in mind.
Can you customize your signs or tea towels with my name (or other personalized info)?
Most often, yes! As long as your requested personalization will fit within the existing design without requiring additional changes, that’s no problem. If your customization needs are more complex, we can discuss a custom design.
I would like you to design a sign/garden flag/tea towel completely unique to me. Can you do that?
Absolutely, I'm happy to help. I am, however, unable to accommodate requests for designs that would incorporate trademarked, licensed or copyrighted images, phrases, logos, and other intellectual property belonging to third parties for which I do not have a license.
Can you enlarge your signs for me?
Yes, I can enlarge a sign for a small additional fee, but the maximum size is 4″ on the longest dimension.
Can you make me a Disney/Harry Potter/Marvel etc. design?
No, I can only create a design with intellectual property from franchises like these if you have a commercial license for usage.
How do you create your sign/garden flag/tea towel designs?
In two different ways:
1. I create a unique design in my design software with commercially licensed graphics, vectors and/or fonts that I have purchased. I create designs that are exclusive to my shop.
OR
2. I will purchase a completed design with a commercial use license and shrink it down to a miniature version!
I do not use graphics/fonts/photos that are not commercially licensed OR in the public domain for free usage, as I take intellectual property and copyright ownership very seriously and work hard to source graphic assets from reputable sources and other small business owners. However, if you believe there is a copyright issue with any of my designs, please contact me.
Orders
How long does it take to get backordered items?
Each item that is backordered is made to order by hand, so please allow approximately 3-4 weeks for production. I make every effort to ship orders as soon as possible.
What payments do you accept?
You can check out securely with PayPal or with any credit card through our trusted third-party processor. I do not have access to your personal credit card payment information, nor do I store that data.
Please note that charges will appear on your statement as Pitera Studios DBA The Petite Provisions Co.
Do you ship internationally?
As of July 1, 2021, we no longer sell outside the United States and Canada on this website due to changes to international VAT requirements. If you are located outside of the U.S. or Canada and would like to place an order, please do so on Etsy!
