Handmade Dollhouse Miniatures by The Petite Provisions Co.

I’m Erika, the artist behind The Petite Provisions Co. In my Florida studio, I create detailed 1:12 scale food, décor, accessories, and complete miniature scenes—each one made by hand and designed to tell a story.

Whether I’m recreating a familiar everyday object or building an entire room in miniature, I’m drawn to the details that make a tiny world feel personal, believable, and lived in.

Meet the artist

Small details have always told the biggest stories.

My background in visual journalism and multimedia storytelling shaped the way I approach miniature art. I notice composition, atmosphere, color, and the small objects that reveal something about the people who might inhabit a space.

That perspective follows me into the studio. I may be sculpting food, styling a room, or recreating an everyday object, but I’m always thinking about the larger story around it. My love of cooking, music, film, and design continually finds its way into the work.

“I want every miniature to feel like a small part of a much larger world.”

I live and work in Florida, where every piece is designed, handcrafted, finished, and carefully prepared for collectors by me.

How it started

From needle-felted mice to miniature worlds

What began as a love for all things small gradually became an artistic practice built around craftsmanship, character, and storytelling.

2016

A love for all things small

The Petite Provisions Co. began with handmade needle-felted characters—tiny pieces that allowed me to explore personality, expression, and storytelling at an intimate scale.

The early years

Learning through character

Creating felted mice taught me patience, proportion, and how much emotion can live in the smallest details. Those lessons still influence the way I approach every miniature today.

A new medium

Discovering polymer clay

As my interests expanded, polymer clay opened the door to realistic miniature food, tabletop pieces, décor, and accessories. It gave me the freedom to recreate the textures and imperfections that make familiar objects feel real.

Today

Building complete miniature stories

My work now ranges from individual handcrafted pieces to complete scenes and themed collections, all united by a love of thoughtful styling and carefully observed detail.

In the studio today

Miniatures made for collectors and storytellers

Today I create detailed 1:12 scale miniatures for dollhouses, displays, and collectors who delight in the unexpected magic of a beautifully made small object.

  • Realistic miniature food and tabletop pieces
  • Dollhouse décor and accessories
  • Seasonal and themed collections
  • Complete rooms and carefully composed scenes
  • Custom commissions created in collaboration with collectors

Some pieces are released in limited quantities, while others return to the shop as they are remade. Because everything is handcrafted, each miniature carries the subtle variations and individual character of the artist’s hand.
