Yesterday, I shared the grand opening of Magnolia Hollow and took you on a tour of the exterior of the shop. Today, we’re heading inside to explore the fall collection now on display.
The first thing you see when you step into Magnolia Hollow is this inviting autumn table, designed to set the tone for the season. The maple tree bonsai kit from Moonflower Miniatures makes a striking centerpiece. I painted the terra cotta pot in black and white, and it ended up being one of my favorite finishing touches in the space.
Surrounding the table are layers of cozy, seasonal details. The square lantern and pedestal candle holder are from Giulia’s Miniatures, while the rest of the styling is handmade. I created the chargers, leaf napkin rings, marble coasters, velvet pumpkins, and pumpkin salt and pepper shakers, and I decorated all of the plates as well. I love how these pieces work together to feel warm without being overly busy.
From there, let’s browse the main shelving. At the very top is a beautiful autumn garland by Tiny Naturals Gift Shop, followed by one of my most playful additions to the shop: gnomes. I’ve always loved decorative gnomes at full scale, so making tiny versions for Magnolia Hollow felt like a natural fit.
The lighting throughout the shop was another labor of love. I made the light fixtures myself using bell bead caps, styrene rods, beads, assorted jewelry findings, and LED lights from Evan Designs. Seeing them come together exactly as I envisioned was incredibly satisfying.
For signage and display details, I leaned into a trend I’ve been seeing everywhere lately. Tabletop signs have become so popular in stores like Joann and Michaels, so I put my Cricut Maker to work using the print-and-cut feature. I used the same process to make the plate holders, which helped everything feel cohesive and intentional.
Somewhere along the way, I went a little overboard making candles, but they were just too much fun to stop. They’re all poured wax and actually functional, which makes them even more special. I also made additional plates, decorated the canisters, and created the white-and-gold marble cheeseboards and coasters. These are made from polymer clay with real gold leaf, and the cheese knives were cut with my Cricut. Those subtle metallic details are some of my favorites in the entire shop.
One detail I’m especially glad I included is the greeting card display. It adds a touch of realism and charm and makes the shop feel like a place you’d truly want to linger.
On another wall, there’s a blanket ladder filled with cozy flannel throws, with more folded and stacked neatly on the bottom shelf. I hand sewed all of the decorative pillows, which adds even more softness and texture to the space. You’ll also spot more velvet pumpkins and some really lovely cloth napkin sets tucked throughout.
Silver and gold leaf napkin rings make another appearance, along with a tiered tray styled with small seasonal details. I’m a longtime fan of tiered trays, so including one here felt essential. I filled it with a bead garland, pumpkins, signs, a canister, a pinecone, and a candle for that perfectly layered fall look.
To finish things off, there are extra signs sized just right for tiered trays, a few decorative mugs, and yes, even more velvet pumpkins. I clearly have a theme, and I’m not mad about it.
I hope you enjoyed this walk through Magnolia Hollow’s fall interior as much as I enjoyed creating it. Stay tuned. The winter collection is coming soon.
