This miniature garden feeder is inspired by the simple charm of cottage gardens, where everyday objects are often repurposed to welcome visiting birds. A small weathered teacup rests on a matching saucer, filled with a mix of tiny seed details and mounted on a slender wooden garden stake.

The cup and saucer are finished with subtle aging and soft tonal variation to suggest an older piece of porcelain that has spent many seasons outdoors. A few scattered seeds rest on the saucer below, adding a natural touch that helps bring the scene to life.

The turned wooden stake gives the feeder a handmade garden feel while keeping the overall profile light and delicate, as though it could easily be placed among flowers or tucked into a quiet corner of the yard.

Each feeder is individually finished by hand, resulting in slight variations in seed placement, distressing, and tone. These differences are intentional and part of what makes each piece unique.

Do you work in any other scales besides 1:12?

At this time, I create my miniatures exclusively in 1:12 scale. Due to my current production schedule, I’m unable to accommodate requests for pieces in other scales.

Are these items suitable for children?

My miniatures are designed for adult collectors and are intended for display and decorative use only. They are not toys and are not suitable for children due to their small size and delicate components.
