The Christmas Tree Stand
After winning 2nd place in this year's Halloween Challenge, I had a gift certificate (thanks to the generous folks at Miniatures.com) burning a hole in my pocket, and because I liked working with the Coffee Spot Kit so much, I bought a couple extras for future projects. Then inspiration struck, and I found myself working on a Christmas tree stand!
My miniature Christmas tree stand is inspired by old-fashioned tree lots. It shimmers under a dusting of faux snow, and tiny strings of lights cast a warm glow. A quaint hot cocoa bar, complete with marshmallows and peppermint candies, adds a touch of whimsy. I really hope I captured the magic of the holiday season in miniature form!
